Atholton prides itself in having a separate Media Centre for Junior and Senior Primary pupils.

Each class has the opportunity to visit its respective Media Centre once a week for a lesson on Book Education which includes the teaching of Research skills.

Reading is greatly encouraged with the children being allowed to borrow books as frequently as the wish.
